Unguligrade
Walking or bearing weight exclusively on the tips of digits (hooves).
Unguligrade describes the orientation or progression of animals bearing weight on the distal tip of the plantar surface of the phalangeal region of the foot. Only the distal tips of digits (hooves) make contact with the ground.
The foot is lengthened relative to that of plantigrade and digitigrade animals.
e.g. horse, deer, cattle and giraffe.
