Glossary
Distal
Located away from, the center of the main body.
Hind Limb
Either of the caudal (posterior or rear) limbs.
Digit
The distal parts of a limb, such as fingers or toes.
Metatarsus
The joints and bones of a hind limb located between the tarsus (ankle) and the phalanges (toes).
Manus
The distal part of the forelimb that includes the digits and (usually) the metacarpus.
