C-shaped Gallop Pattern
Trail left by an animal moving at a rotatory gallop.
Characterized by the following footfall sequence:  
1. right hind foot
2. foot left hind foot
3. a first (extended) suspension phase: all feet airborne and extended
4. left forefoot
5. right forefoot
6. a second (collected) suspension phase - all feet airborne and gathered under the body
The trail is in the shape of the letter C.
Also known as a rotatory gallop pattern.
