Foot
The distal part of a limb which bears weight, and facilitates locomotion and manipulation.
Anatomists divide the foot into three segments: the hindfoot, midfoot and forefoot.
However, we use the terms forefoot and hind foot in their common usage, to refer to feet.
Also known as paw (with reference to the feet of dogs and cats).
