Forelimb
Either of the cranial (anterior or front) limbs.
Distal
Located away from, the center of the main body.
In the case of an appendage, such as a limb, this is away from the point of attachment to the main body.
In the case of an appendage, such as a limb, this is away from the point of attachment to the main body.
Metacarpal Region
The region of a forelimb between the carpus and the digits.
Hind Limb
Either of the caudal (posterior or rear) limbs.
Metatarsal Region
The region of a hind limb between the tarsus and the digits.
Hind Paw
The paw of the caudal limb of a quadruped.
