Proximal Phalanx
Proximal bone of the digits.
Articulates with metacarpals or metatarsals and intermediate phalanges.
Articulates with metacarpals or metatarsals and intermediate phalanges.
Distal Phalanx
Distal bone of digits.
Articulates with middle phalanges.
Articulates with middle phalanges.
Metacarpals
The bones of the metacarpus, between the carpus (wrist) and the phalanges (fingers).
Metatarsals
The bones of the metatarsus, between the tarsus (ankle) and the phalanges (toes).
Intermediate Phalanx
Bone between proximal phalanges and distal phalanges.
Distal Phalanges
The distal bone of the digits. These articulate with the intermediate phalanges.
