Forelimb
Either of the cranial (anterior or rear) limbs.
Fault
A characteristic of a pet that deviates from the breed standard.

Trot
A symmetrical, two-beat gait in which diagonally contralateral limbs move in unison.

Forefoot
The foot of a cranial (anterior) limb.
Central Line
An imaginary line along the direction of travel.
Out at the Elbows
A fault of gait in which elbows twist out or away from the body.
Hindquarters
The hind region of the dog, from the loin.
Pastern
The metacarpal region of the forelimb or the metatarsal region of the hind limb.
Hock
The tarsal region or tarsal joint of the hind leg of a quadruped.
