Eastern Canadian Wolf
(Canis lycaon)
Smaller than the grey wolf and closely related to the red wolf. It is highly endangered.
Some believe that it should be classified as a separate species, rather than as a subspecies of the grey wolf.
Also known as the Eastern Wolf or the Eastern Canadian Red Wolf.
